hi, I’m meg!

A little site to answer the questions “what are you up to?” and if you’re new to me, “who are you?”

a few words on me

NYC native with a deep love of Uptown. Ex-professional Jew/forever proud Jew of interfaith experience. Asker of good (some would say “the right”) questions. Nourisher of bodies and spirits. Recovering type A 90s kid trying to ditch the achievement paradigm and live a meaningful life under capitalism. Generalist by trade, specializing in helping people and communities have what they need–me and mine included. Person who counsels (sometimes for money) but please god do not call me a Consultant.

things I offer

Meg at 4 or 5 years old, standing with her building’s elevator ajar, smiling and holding a little mermaid lunchbox (1994ish)

Four photos of Meg as a child. Top left: Meg in clown makeup in front of her family’s piano and Christmas tree. Top right: Meg and her mom, Ellen, on a boardwalk* in warm weather holding hands. Bottom left: Meg and her sister, Laura, in colorful bathrobes in their childhood bedroom. Bottom right: Meg at NJY Camps on Meg’s first visiting day with Ellen, holding crafts she’d made (1990s)

*Meg’s wonderful dad, Mercer, corrected her. It is a pier (on St Simons Island, GA), not a boardwalk.
