My Friend Meg: a meal service for Big Life Moments
My Friend Meg is a service that gives you (and/or your loved ones) nourishment in times where life makes it hard to feed yourself. After a brief intake–which we can do by phone, email, text or questionnaire–I’ll design a custom menu that stocks your fridge and freezer with nutrient-dense, delicious meals and meal-starters.
Standard package provides roughly 4 weeks of meal assistance tailored to your/your loved one’s needs. Meals can be cooked in my kitchen or yours. Either way, I do the dishes and assist with organizing your freezer. This service can easily replace a meal train, and makes a wonderful collaborative gift. Custom packages, including for families, absolutely available.
I package food primarily in disposable but reusable (you know, good NYC Chinese takeout) containers which are of course yours to keep.

In honor of my sweet mama
My Friend Meg makes a wonderful gift for anyone experiencing a major life transition: growing a family, moving, starting a new endeavor, experiencing a loss. I specialize in postpartum and grief support.
I have always loved food and feeding people, traits gifted to me by my magical mom who left this earth in December 2022. Everything I do in some way honors her. That is to say, she’ll be with us if this service is helping you celebrate, and she’ll be with us if this service is meeting you or a loved one in grief. That blessing is free. And if there are any particular sensitivities (of allergy, preference, or circumstance) that you need to build into our plan, please communicate them! We’ll make it happen together.

Catering
Please inquire about event partnership, including dinner parties. Particularly interested in supporting movement organizing/events aligned with social change. If you have a budget for such things, let’s talk, and if you do not have a budget for such things, let’s talk!
Classes
I offer cooking classes (online or IRL) as a fun friends/family experience or to help you learn to grocery shop, meal prep, or stock your own fridge and freezer efficiently, deliciously and nutriously.
Snack Packs
Looking for a unique gift idea for a birthday party, bachelorette, wedding welcome gift or family reunion? I assemble homemade snack packs with flare (think spiced candied nuts, chocolate covered candied citrus, savory granola).
